Nutella, the delicious chocolate and hazelnut spread, has taken the world by storm.

It was created in 1964 by the Italian company Ferrero, and was introduced to America in 1983.

Since then, the sweet treat has been used in many different ways, in crepes, on toast, mixed in to different desserts, and sometimes eaten straight from the jar with a spoon.

Australian chef, David Chilcott, also known as “The One Pot Chef”, has created an easy and delicious ‘no-bake Nutella cheesecake’ recipe that he shared on his Youtube channel. The video has over 3 million views, 19 thousand ‘likes’, and hundreds of comments from people who made the recipe themselves, all rave reviews of the simplicity and deliciousness of the final results.

David knows just how decadent this recipe is and, in the comments section below the video, warns his viewers not to eat too much of it.

He follows that up, however, by writing “…when you do eat too much of it – enjoy the chocolate coma it will cause!!!”. The sweetness of the Nutella is nicely cut with the slight tartness that cream cheese brings into the mix, this means that it is very easy to overdo it.

David makes more then just this one dessert, he has 5 books available that cover everything from pizzas, to drinks, and of course more desserts.

The great thing about all his recipes is that they use easy to find ingredients, don’t take too long to make, and, of course, taste delicious! David also creates lots of seasonal recipes including: ‘witches hats’ and ‘mummy pizzas’ for Halloween, ‘chocolate birds nests’ for Easter, and a ‘chocolate truffle tower tree’ for Christmas.
