Here are the ingredients that we will be using mainly on the Caramel Candy, as shared by the Youtube channel Delmira Cooking:

First, melt your sugar in a frying pan with low heat so it will not get burned.

Stir regularly until you get an even dark brown color. Don’t overcook it or it will blacken and burn.

Turn off the stove and pour in the Whipping Cream starting from the middle and spiraling outside in a circular motion.

This will help to mix easier.

Turn on the stove again at medium heat to incorporate the ingredients.

It’s ideal to use a wooden spoon for this as seen in the video.

To test the consistency and texture:

Take a spoonful of the mixture and pour it into a bowl of cold water.

If it can already be shaped and chewy, add butter as the last ingredient.

Prepare a square baking pan and place the wax paper for lining on the sides and base

. Pour in the caramel mixture evenly on the pan.

Chill for 30 to 40 minutes.

When the time’s up, remove the pan from the refrigerator and then take out the caramel block from the pan.

Remove the wax paper as well.

Place the caramel block into a chopping board so you can start cutting it into small, bite-sized squares.

Now there’s no need to be accurate this time, just make sure to slice almost evenly.

To store the caramel candies:

Cut some wax papers into smaller pieces, but big enough for your caramel to be wrapped.

Store them and enjoy them for later.

But wait, there’s more. Aside from making caramel candies, you can also make Iced Caramel Milk from the mixture.
